Palompon, Leyte is now off the list among the remaining COVID-19 free municipalities in Leyte

Palompon, Leyte Mayor Georgina Arevalo just confirmed 3 positive cases in a video posted on her official Facebook Page. The patients are, One (1) OFW; One (1) Locally Stranded Individual from Cebu, City; and One (1) Authorized Person Outside Residence [APOR] from Manila.

The Mayor publicly asks the local residents not to Panic as patients underwent strict Quarantine Protocols right as they stepped in town.

As of now, the Mayor said that the patients are under Isolation and Monitoring by RHU staffs. By these facts the Mayor humbly asks favor to Palomponganons stranded outside town to stay put for the safety of their own families and everyone else.
